FAYRE on the Square will be returning this summer with a pop-up bar, croquet course and more in Salisbury.

Salisbury City Council announced the return of the event which opens on Saturday, July 23 and will run until Monday, August 29 in the Guildhall Square.

The council said: "We are pleased to announce that Fayre on the Square is returning next month, providing the perfect spot to relax and unwind with family and friends this summer."

A nine hoop Crazy Croquet course will be open from 10am until 8pm every day. It costs £4 per person and tickets can be booked online for a guaranteed place or alternatively pay on the day.

There will also be also be an opportunity to relax and soak up the sun at the Salisbury City Garden Bar, which will be open from 11am until 11pm, Monday to Saturday, and 11am until 10.30pm on a Sunday.

A variety of food vendors will be serving up street food from 11am until 7pm daily.

On Sunday (July 10), Market Place will be transformed into the magical world of Alice and Wonderland for the Salisbury Street Sellers event, which runs from 10am to 4pm.

Come along and meet Alice and the Mad Hatter.

There will also be a free Mad Hatters Tea Party and craft workshops alongside the artisan stalls, live music and food and drink vendors.
