CASES heard by Salisbury Magistrates' Court:

PAUL BALDOCK, aged 39, of Hurn Road, Ringwood, pleaded guilty to fishing without the appropriate licence in New Milton on December 6, 2020. He was fined £72 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £135.

BRETT WILLIAM DREWITT, aged 40, of Cooks Close, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On March 30, 2022, Drewitt was recorded driving a Ford Fiesta along Australian Avenue with delta-9-tetrayhdrocannabinol - the main psychoactive ingredient of cannabis - in his blood. He also possessed a quantity of cannabis. Drewitt was fined £120 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

MARK PHILLIP HISCOCK, aged 48, of Hungerford Road, Bristol, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour while drunk in Salisbury. The offence was recorded at Bourne Hill on June 8, 2022. Hiscock was discharged conditionally for three months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22. His time spent in custody was considered time served for the offence.

KALLUM JOHN TARGETT, aged 23, of Manning Close, Bishopdown, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On December 13, 2021, Targett was recorded driving a Peugeot 206 Verve in the Salisbury Racecourse area with delta-9-tetrayhdrocannabinol in his blood. He had taken the vehicle and was driving it without the owner’s consent, also meaning he was uninsured. He also possessed a quantity of cannabis. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. He was banned from the road for 18 months and must complete 50 hours of unpaid work.

WILLIAM MCNAIR WHITEHEAD, aged 25, care of Woodbury Lane, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis during an investigation into an alleged driving offence, recorded along North Street on December 8, 2021. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. He was banned from the road for 24 months and must complete 200 hours of unpaid work.

ZAKK WHITELEY, aged 21, of Stratford Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to having an unloaded pistol at Old Sarum Airfield on February 25, 2022. He also possessed a quantity of cannabis. Whiteley was fined £133 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. He must carry out 50 hours of unpaid work.
