THE winners of July’s camera club competition have been revealed.

This month budding photographers were challenged to capture images associated with rainbows.

This could be taken in its literal form, rain and sunshine creating the iconic rays across the sky, or in its symbolic form of celebrating inclusivity and diversity.

Judged by the editorial team, first place was awarded to Gina Hawkshaw for her picture of a rainbow overlooking the village of Pitton.

The picture was praised for its use of colour and alignment, capturing a landscape perfect for a postcard.

Second place was given to Annette Acreman for managing to capture a vivid ‘double rainbow’, arching above the treetops.

Moyra Rowney was awarded third place for a different take on rainbows, snapping a beautiful cake pop display at the market.
