A FIRE broke out in a field near Duck Lane this evening (Tuesday, August 9).
Multiple fire crews were sent to the incident near Duck Lane, which was reported to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service at 6.30pm.
Crews at the scene included Salisbury along with Cranborne, Ringwood and Ferndown.
The fire involving around three hectares of grass has been extinguished and firefighters were dampening down the scene.
Earlier this evening, a spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to a field fire near Duck Lane, Laverstock at 6.30pm this evening. Crews from Salisbury x2 Wimborne, Cranborne, Ringwood and Ferndown are in attendance along with a small 4x4 pumping appliance from Cranborne."
