Premises Licence

Woodago Eco Solutions Limited is applying for permission to sell alcohol at Woody's Deli in Corsham. 

They also want permission for alcohol to be consumed on the premises daily. 

Lyntonfox Limited has also applied for a premises licence for Office 1, Unit 1, The Millennium Building, The Dairy Farm, Pinkney Park, Malmesbury, to allow the selling of alcohol online from Monday to Friday, 11am to 5.30pm and Saturday 11am to 1pm.

Speed limits

Wiltshire Council wants to introduce a 40mph speed limit on B4643 Melksham Road, Chippenham – from a point 35 metres south of its junction with A4 Rowden Hill to its junction with B4528; B4528 Showell, Chippenham and Lacock – from its junction with B4643 Melksham Road to its junction with A350.

Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on August 15.

Road closures

Wiltshire Council has made orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Footpath 4 (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Pound Close to its junction with Footpath 1, Lyneham and Bradenstoke. B) Footpath 5, Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Footpath 1, Lyneham and Bradenstoke to its junction with Footpath 4, Lyneham and Bradenstoke to enable Construction of 50 residential units. Alternative route via existing alternative highways and rights of way. This will be from August 15 and the closure will be required for six months

Footpath 13 (Part) Latton; from its junction with Footpath 3, Latton, to its junction with Bridleway 13, Latton to enable replacement of culvert under the river churn, associated works to river banks and bed, and adjacent siphon.

Alternative route via existing alternative rights of way. This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on August 15 and the closure will be required for seven weeks.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works
