CHAMBER president Ian Hudson singled out a Salisbury company that "has stood head and shoulders above the rest" for its commitment to the chamber.
SMS office Equipment and Computers dotcom, of Churchfields Industrial Estate, is a gold patron of the chamber, has supported the chamber-organised Expo business exhibition since it started and has kitted out the chamber office with the latest office equipment.
Mr Hudson added that the company's managing director, Peter Staines, who could not be at the ceremony due to being on holiday, was "a thoroughly nice bloke".
Accepting the president's award on Mr Staines' behalf was the company's service director, Sherridan Cockshutt.
He said its work for the chamber was all about enabling the chamber to present itself better to its members.
"We set the equipment up for them so they did not have to, and they can reap the benefits of a fast modern office," he said.
"Peter will be so pleased with this award."
