A DEVELOPER has announced it will be holding an event in Andover this weekend to help residents get onto the property ladder.

Taylor Wimpey West London will be hosting an informative event at its Saxon Heights development which is geared towards helping property-seekers who may be eligible to use the Help to Buy scheme.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21, and will see an independent financial advisor (IFA), as well as the experienced sales team, on hand to welcome any questions potential homebuyers may have.

Visitors will be able to find out about the Help to Buy scheme, which is a Government-backed scheme that allows buyers to secure a new home with just a five per cent deposit. However, the scheme will end completely in 2023, so there is a limited amount of time remaining to make use of it.

Gemma Bibby, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West London, said:  “We have a great range of homes available at our Saxon Heights development in Andover. We know people have all sorts of questions about purchasing a property so we’re holding this event to give them the chance to ask how they can get on the property ladder with just a five per cent deposit.

"This event will also give people the opportunity to discuss their affordability free of charge and discover if their dream home at Saxon Heights can be theirs. As the scheme is coming to an end, now is the perfect time to make the most of it. We look forward to answering any questions people may have this weekend.”

The Help to Buy event is by appointment only. To book a place at the event, call 01264310754 or email SaxonHeights.House@taylorwimpey.com.
