Greengages, Salisbury's top rated cafe according to TripAdvisor, has closed until further notice.
A sign stating "Due to unforseen circumstances Greengages will be closed until further notice" has been stuck on the window of the cafe.
The Journal spoke to owner Louise Trusler, who said: "My brother has taken extended leave and it will open in due time."
Greengages is located at 31 Catherine Street in Salisbury.
At this stage no more information has been provided about the closure of Greengages Cafe.
