THE TASTE Salisbury food and drink festival is all about pushing back boundaries and trying different types of food and drink.

It officially starts today so here are some ideas to tempt you. From burgers to whisky and chocolate and a tasty Caribbean dish, there may be something that appeals.

August 26

The Craft Bar at the Salisbury arms is holding a Craft Bar Indie Disco with indie bangers, disco lights, and discounted drinks. Starts at 7pm.

August 31

Enjoy Bev’s Burgers and Board Games at the Craft Bar at the Salisbury Arms. It is open from 4pm-11pm. Bring board games or use the ones at the venue. Discounts available.

September 01

Try whisky and chocolate at the Old Ale & Coffee House in Crane Street at 7pm. This is in conjunction with The Artisan Wine & Spirit Company. £20 booking advised.

September 02

The Artisan Wine & Spirit Co are creating a slice of the Caribbean in the Guildhall Square. Enjoy a firepit-cooked Caribbean-inspired dish and 4 Plantation Rums. Bar, dancing, and steel band. 6.30pm-10.30pm. Ticket £49

September 3

For something, a little different, Maul’s Wine and Cheese Bar presents its End of the Summer Road Flamenco Fiesta. Spanish food, drink, and dance outside in Fish Row. 5pm- 6.45 pm and 7pm-9pm. Ticketed event.

September 3

Join in the fun at the Craft Bar Beach Party at The Craft Bar at The Salisbury Arms in Endless Street. Starts at 4pm. DJ playing party anthems from 8pm. Deals on summer cocktails, shots, and tropical burger specials. A special deal for those who wear Hawaiian Shirts.

September 3

For those who want something a little different, try this oysters and fizz promotion. It is in collaboration with Premier Fish Fishmongers and Mauls Wine and Cheese Bar. It includes a trio of freshly shucked oysters and a glass of fizz. Price £10.
