A NEW event is starting in Salisbury to encourage people to share their poetry, music and comedy with audiences.
From The Book launches today (September 1) at Brown Street.
Anyone can perform, anyone can be there.
Speaking of the event, host Jamie Langham said: “From The Book is not by the book, it is freeing your art from the paper it is penned on. Poetry, stories, music and spoken word, for anyone and everyone who has ever had the drive to immortalise their experiences, come down and share.
"Welcomed, respected and enjoyed by all in a place in town where you know and love. Inclusivity keeps the art of our city alive and we want you all to be at the heart of it.
“Different is better and different is now.”
The event starts at 7.30pm and food from Nico Pizza will be available.
