POLICE investigating the murder of 59-year-old Alan Clarke today released a CCTV image of a man, who they think may be able to assist their enquiries.
The man was seen in Salisbury Market Place in the early hours of last Saturday and police think he may have seen Mr Clarke and have information that will help the investigation.
Mr Clarke was found face-down in the River Avon near the city's Waitrose supermarket at 8.40am on Saturday.
A 20-year-old local man was later arrested on suspicion of murder and is still in police custody.
Anyone recognising the man pictured is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 0845 408 7000 or leave information anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
