THE former BHS shop in the Old George Mall has been standing empty for a long time with Salisbury residents waiting eagerly to get a first glimpse of the new store.   

This week, a new sign appeared on the shop frontage teasing the shop that will be opening there but which shop chain is it? 

Rumours about potential stores have circulated for some years but in June this year, a very well-known chain announced they would be coming to Salisbury and under cover, alterations have been taking place. 

With 29,700 sq ft of space to fill, the shop will need to have a lot of stock and employees to keep up with customer demand. 

Possibly Salisbury's worst kept retail secret, the only real suprise is when Primark - that much anticipated store, will finally open its doors here for the first time.
