FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of a toddler locked in a car in Ringwood.
The incident in New Street was reported to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service at around midday on Saturday (October 15).
A crew from Ringwood attended and "safely removed" the child from the vehicle.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Fire crews rescued a toddler locked in a car in New Street in Ringwood.
"Ringwood firefighters were called just after midday to the scene and the child was safely removed from the vehicle."
The incident was dealt with by around 12.40pm.
Fellow firefighters in Fordingbridge say it's been a "busy week" at the station.
A post on the Fordingbridge Fire Station Twitter on October 15 said: "It’s been a busy week at the station with a total of nine calls."

1 x release of person 1 x appliance fire 2 x fires in the open 3 x assist ambulance 2 x AFAs
These included one incident where a person had to be released, one of an appliance fire, two fires in the open and three call-outs to assist the ambulance service.
In addition to these call-outs Fordingbridge firefighters also attended two reports relating to automatic fire alarms.
