A WOMAN was left with 'extensive bruising' after a catapult attack. 

This comes just three days after a teenage boy was injured after also being hit by an object from a catapult in an incident near New Bridge Road. 

On Sunday, November 6, at around 1.10pm, in a field near Odstock Road, a woman in her 40s was struck in her lower back by an object believed to have been fired from a catapult.

The attack caused extensive bruising.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for information from anyone in the area at the time who may have seen something that could help with our enquiries, or anyone that has CCTV capturing the incident.
