READERS of the Salisbury Journal have told us their favourite places to buy fish and chips.
A post on the Salisbury Journal's Facebook page attracted scores of comments from people keen to share their favourite spots in the city.
Classic Fish Bar in Laverstock came out on top, with 37 readers overwhelmingly declaring it their favourite.
Jim Gaffney said "100 per cent Laverstock"
Jody Everett wrote "Lavvy... Massive and great quality!"
Stoby's Fish and Chips in Butcher Row came in second place, Simon Pritchard remarked "Stobys - question answered. Move on."
