AN ELDERLY woman in her 80s was targeted when approached by two women asking for money in Amesbury on Thursday, February 2 at approximately 1pm.
They stated they were raising funds for a charity for the deaf and the elderly woman handed over £10.
During the exchange, one of the women stepped too close to her which made her feel very uncomfortable when returning home, she realised that £100 was missing from her purse.

The incident happened in the covered walkway in the Tesco car park and left the elderly woman feeling upset and embarrassed.
Police state the two women are white, in their late 20s to early 30s and spoke with a European accent.
