A HOUSING developer recently held a hard hat tour event at its Forest Edge development in Fordingbridge.
The event was arranged by Metis Homes to allow prospective purchasers to see the progress being made and have a preview inside a select number of homes under construction.
The £21.5m scheme is located off Salisbury Road and will see 63 houses and apartments built at Forest Edge, with the first homes projected to be ready for occupation this spring.

David Oakley, sales and marketing director for Metis Homes, said: “It gave people a chance to really imagine themselves living here, on what will be a beautiful development in a forest location.”
The unique development will have two play areas and a purpose-designed dog agility course.
All 63 homes at Forest Edge are expected to achieve an energy performance certificate (EPC) rating of B, with benefits including electric vehicle charging points, and high levels of insulation and thermal efficiency.
