TWO men have been arrested after they acted suspiciously around vehicles in Amesbury.
The arrests came after police officers were called to Cadnam Crescent at around 11.10pm on Tuesday, February 21, following reports.
The two men, both in their 50s, had been seen acting suspiciously and removing parts from a vehicle, according to police.
Shortly after officers took a description of the offenders and the vehicle they left in, it was spotted unoccupied on Milton Road.
About 20 minutes later two men were caught in Stockport Avenue and arrested on suspicion of theft from a vehicle and vehicle interference.
One of the offenders was from Dorset while the was from Salisbury.
They remain in custody in Gablecross for questioning.
