A PERSON was sent to hospital after an incident on New Canal yesterday.
The incident required the response of two ambulances which remained on site for four hours.
The ambulances could still be seen outside the Marks & Spencer at 5pm on Tuesday, February 28 after first responding to the incident at 1.07pm that afternoon.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 1.07pm on Tuesday, February 28 to an incident in Salisbury. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and an operations officer.
"We conveyed one patient to Salisbury District Hospital.”
