Two men have been charged with multiple offences related to two assaults in Bransgore.
Todd James Edward Cooper, 28, of Jubilee Court in Sway, and Kristen Christopher Cooper, 23, of Whitelands in Bransgore, were charged and remanded at Southampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 8 with two assaults occasioning actual bodily harm, criminal damage, and possession of an offensive weapon.
This is in relation to two incidents on Betsy Lane, outside the Co-Op, on Saturday March 4.
The first incident occurred at 5.50pm and the second occurred at 7.20pm.
Alex Cutler, corporate communications officer for Hampshire Police, said: "We were called at 5.50pm on Saturday, March 4 to Betsy Lane in Christchurch following an incident outside the Co-op store there. It was reported that three males exited a black Kia Sorrento and chased another man into the Co-op, with one of them firing a ball bearing from a catapult at him and breaking a window. We were then called again at 7.20pm to the same Co-op. A collision occurred involving a black Kia Sorrento and a grey Vauxhall Astra. It was reported two men got out of the Kia and damaged the Astra with a crowbar. It was reported the occupants of the Kia also assaulted a male passenger of the Astra."
Todd James Edward Cooper and Kristen Christopher Cooper are next due to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday, April 3.
