A POLICE search team looking for a missing man has found a body.
The team, working with assistance from Wiltshire Search and Rescue, was searching for missing person Edward Wyles, 33, when the body was found in Churchill Gardens.
The body was found shortly after 9.30 am today (March 18).
Formal identification of the body is yet to take place.
Edward was last seen Thursday, January 26 at the bus stop on Boscombe Road in Amesbury, opposite the Co-op, planning to catch the X4 back to Salisbury.

Local officers have informed his next of kin of the latest development.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "A police-led team searching for missing person Edward Wyles, 33, have located a body in Churchill Gardens, Salisbury shortly after 9.30am today (March 18).
"Formal identification of the body has yet to take place and local officers have informed Edward’s next of kin of the latest development.
"Our thoughts are with Edward’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time and we ask that their privacy is respected."
