A WARM, funny, and beguiling exploration of love is the key theme of the play due to be performed at the Studio Theatre.

Margaret Harvey is widowed and has created a protective barrier around her. She is not expecting love, that is until artist Milton arrives.

Director of productions, Jackie Pilkington said: “When people get older, they experience sadness in life and the widow in the play has felt loss, but then she finds some joy again in her lodger’s humour which is the last thing that she expected.”

Jackie added: “I think that people will feel a sense of hope when they watch. I urge people who don’t know the play to come and see it as it is so special."

The play was due to run three years ago but was cancelled due to Covid. Fortunately, the same three actors were able to re-commit to the play and will finally star in it.
