Peregrine falcons are protected in the UK under the Wildlife and Countryside Act, of 1981 and with a considerable wingspan, the falcons are often seen soaring around the Salisbury Cathedral spire.

The incubation of the eggs usually begins with the penultimate egg, so the time is now counting down until hatching. It typically takes between 29-32 days per egg.
