A FINANCIAL advisor charged with 28 counts of fraud has pleaded not guilty.
Richard Webb, 64, appeared in the dock of Salisbury Crown Court on Thursday, April 27, to submit his plea.
Webb, of Long Valley Road, Twerton, Bath, was read out each of the 28 counts of fraud and pleaded not guilty to all of them.
He allegedly defrauded 17 victims of more than £5 million by encouraging them to invest.
The offences are said to have been committed between August 30, 2011, and August 29, 2018.
Webb's trial will take place on April 8, 2024, at Salisbury Crown Court.
He must also attend a review hearing on November 10, 2023.
Webb, who wore a dark grey jumper, brown gilet and red trousers to court, was granted unconditional bail.
