AN ECO fair brought planet-friendly workshops, stalls and gifts to Ringwood.

The ECO Fair took place on Saturday, May 20 from 10.30am.

Scores of people flocked to the popular event as it returned for the third year to the Furlong with the theme 'Making Space for Nature'.

More than 30 stalls were selling items such as nature-inspired arts and crafts, plus gave visitors the chance to learn about solar power, heat pumps and bee keeping.

It was organised by Ringwood Actions for Climate Emergency and The Rotary Club of Ringwood, supported by Transition Ringwood, and The Ringwood Meeting House and History Centre.

A spokesperson said: "The Ringwood Eco Fair was a great opportunity to buy upcycled and sustainable goods, learn how to make seed bombs and buy native plants and trees. There was a range of local groups and businesses with planet-friendly stalls and gifts."
