A BOARDING school had the honour of welcoming a truly remarkable guest recently.

Maureen Rose, the former dressmaker to Queen Elizabeth II, visited Forres Sandle Manor School in Fordingbridge, captivating children from Reception to Year 4 in an extraordinary morning filled with tales of royalty and fashion.

With a wealth of experience and expertise, Maureen regaled the children with stories from her time as the esteemed dressmaker to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, including first-hand accounts of royal dress fittings and the meticulous attention to detail that went into creating stunning garments fit for a queen.
