SALISBURY MP John Glen visited Salisbury’s newest building society to see how its financial services can make a difference on the high street.

Yorkshire Building Society opened its third agency with St Barts Finance Ltd last month, to support people in Salisbury with a range of financial needs.

On Friday, May 26, the MP for Salisbury and South Wiltshire and chief secretary to the treasury visited the facility in Oatmeal Row and heard from staff on how residents have welcomed the service for its accessibility.

Mr Glen said: “The partnership between Yorkshire Building Society and St Barts Finance Ltd is an excellent example of how organisations can come together to form positive partnerships that benefit local people. It was great to see and hear the team’s passion for providing a quality local service, helping people to save and buy their first homes.”
