THE Fisherton Gateway Project is well and truly underway, with Phase One beginning today, Monday, August 7.
The street remains open for business, but the road has been temporarily converted into a one-way system.
This dashcam video footage shows the extent of the work which is currently underway.

In the video, you can see the lengthy string of traffic cones sectioning off portions of the road.

The video also displays the lack of a left turn onto the street at the junction near Caffé Nero.
Drivers might want to note that delays are likely to persist while this maintenance which is set to improve the street continues, the first phases of work are scheduled to be complete by December 2023, while the overall Fisherton Gateway scheme won’t be completed until Summer 2024.
