Please can I extend my very grateful thanks to everyone who helped me when my 95 year old Dad suffered a significant leg injury on Monday in Waitrose car park.
To the lady in the red car who supplied many clean tissues and went to get the Waitrose first aider.
To the staff who attended, the first aider, the gentleman who summoned the ambulance and to the ambulance staff themselves.
All kind, caring, professional and very much appreciated by both of us. I regret I can’t remember all your names as watching my Dad bleeding profusely and being unable to stem the flow, my mind was in a whirl, but we both thank you all very much.
It was good to see kindness in action in our troubled world.
