No civilised person celebrates the murder of men, women and children by fanatics.
We witnessed, albeit in a sanitised form, the atrocities committed by Islamic State fighters (ISIL) and were rightly revolted that human beings could act with such barbarity.
Hamas, a proscribed terrorist organisation has perpetrated similar crimes against Israeli citizens and Ms Barbara Hickman’s omission of this fact is telling.
Also, may I remind the lady of part of Hamas’ Charter: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it”.
How do you have a dialogue with people whose avowed intention is to destroy the Jewish People from the Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea? Any resonance with Nazi Germany?
