A PARANORMAL investigator has just experienced one of his most action-packed spooky phenomenon even though he has investigated more than 1000 'haunted' locations and appeared on one of TV ghost hunter Jack Osborne's programmes.
Tony Ferguson 38, a personal trainer is based in the New Forest. He developed an interest in the paranormal having experienced 'unexplained events' at his grandfather's house when young. Since then, his desire to know more has increased and he travels across the UK to pursue his hobby.
Tony's most recent investigation took place at Castle Cottage in Stapleford on Saturday, October 28. It is a semi-detached mid 17 century cottage although the team prefer to not know much about the history of any place they investigate before starting.
He said: "I prefer to keep an open mind."
The investigation included fellow paranormal enthusiasts - wife Bev Ferguson(49)and Adam Clarke (30).
Tony said: "We had heard of paranormal activity in the cottage and within the grounds but we were all sceptical as we had never seen any real evidence to back these claims.
"From the moment we entered the cottage we were hearing unexplained very young children's voices, footsteps running up the stairs and footsteps and banging noises coming from the floor above us."
The team place themselves in front of the camera when documenting paranormal phenomena and on Saturday, began to call out to see if they could get a response. There were loud bangs in the kitchen with them and footsteps in the room above them and outside in the passage area.
Adam is responsible for the paranormal equipment and he set up a music box motion sensor in the front hall.
Tony said: "It went off so I went out to try and debunk this, on the way out, we heard a child's voice giggling and then, the sound of footsteps running upstairs."
The music box stopped but continued once Tony had returned to the kitchen. This happened several times with them checking the device and it playing once they had left.
Tony appeared on Jack Osbourne's Ghost Brothers Fright Nights programme in 2021 where a clip of one of his paranormal investigation was discussed and he was questioned about a door that mysteriously closed by itself while on camera.
Tony added: "As an investigator who has travelled the UK to document thousands of places, I would put this in the top 20 haunted locations in the UK. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the paranormal."
The team plan to investigate Merley House, in Wimborne, Dorset soon.
