A BOY as young as 11 has been arrested following a ‘robbery’ in woods behind a supermarket. 

Three Verwood boys, aged 11, 12 and 13, have been arrested by police on suspicion of robbery following an incident behind Morrisons in Chiltern Drive, Verwood. 

Police said a 15-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of teenage boys in the forest behind the supermarket between 2pm and 2.30pm on Monday, October 23. 

It’s said the victim’s coat, jumper and jewellery were stolen and that one of the boys had a knife on him. 

The 15-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment to his face and shoulder. 

A 15-year-old boy from Verwood was previously arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on police bail. 

After the additional arrests, the 11-year-old was released under investigation and the 12- and 13-year-old were released on police bail.
