“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special.”

Following the event McCarthy Stone donated £250 to Salisbury foodbank, which helps to combat poverty and hunger in the local area.

Maria Stevenson, manager at Sailsbury Foodbank, said: “We’re grateful for the donation from McCarthy Stone. In this cost-of-living crisis, for us to continue to provide our services, we rely on donations and volunteers, and this funding will go a long way in helping to alleviate hunger amongst those in need in the local community. We can’t thank the team enough.”

Monument Place has 63 apartments for the over 70s, alongside a range of shared facilities including a communal lounge, landscaped gardens and an on-site bistro.
