A round-up of recent cases from Salisbury magistrates' court:
MS LOUISE BORROWDALE, 50 of Ludgershall, has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 after being caught driving without insurance or a test certificate.
Ms Barrowdale was driving a Vauxhall Agila on February 15 on Short Street in Ludgershall.
They were fined £660, and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £264 and costs of £90. Driving record endorsed with six points.
MR IEUAN JONES, 24 of Corton Denham, Dorset, pleaded guilty to speeding on the A303.
Mr Jones was driving a Ford Transit van on February 24 on the A303 at Wylye at a speed exceeding 60 miles per hour.
They have been fined £307, as well as a surcharge of £123, and costs of £90.
Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 28 days. Discretionary disqualification. Defendant's guilty plea taken into account when imposing sentence.
MR ELLIOTT SMITH, 34, of Richmond-upon-Thames, pleaded guilty to speeding on the A303 Devils Batch Crossroads, east of Chicklade, on the A303.
It took place on March 6, 2023. Fined £123, surcharge of £209, costs of £90.
Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 56 days. Discretionary disqualification. Defendant's guilty plea taken into account when imposing sentence.
MR JOHN SMITH, 78 of Manresa Road, Kensington and Chelsea, was caught speeding while driving a Ferrari Spider on the A303 at Chicklade on March 6, 2023.
Fined £1000, a surcharge of £400, costs of £90. Driving record endorsed with six points. Defendant's guilty plea taken into account when imposing sentence.
TIRA COOPER, 32 of Coldharbour Lane, stole various items belonging to Spar Stores in Longhedge on April 21, 2023.
Fined £150, surcharge of £60, guilty plea taken into account.
SAM GUYATT, 35 of Seend, has been fined for driving without due care or attention.
On November 22, 2022, they drove a Mini One Clubman on the A3094 Netherhampton Road.
Guilty plea taken into account. Fined £293, surcharge £117, costs of £110. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.
