THE railway line between Salisbury and Exeter St Davids is back up and running once again.

The line was blocked off from Monday 4th to Tuesday the 12th December due to a landslide at Crewkerne Tunnel caused by heavy downfalls and flooding.

South Western Railway services could only operate from London Waterloo to Salisbury.

The train company sent out an apology to customers after nearly ten days postponement to services on the line.

On the SWR Help page on X they wrote “We’re very sorry for the ongoing disruption as a result of this landslip. Thank you for your continued patience.”

A normal timetable will run as usual with at least one train leaving per hour from Salisbury to Exeter St David's from today onwards.
