TWO people had to free themselves from their cars after a three-car crash this afternoon.
The crash, on the A360, meant the southbound lanes of the road wa closed south of Longbarrow Roundabout and St Peter's Place Roundabout.
Wiltshire Police said at 12.49pm: "We are currently in attendance at a collision on the A360 and as a result we have closed the A360 southbound from Longbarrow roundabout, with a second closure on at St Peter's Place roundabout at the junction of the A360/The Avenue.
"Please avoid the area while the incident is dealt with."
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said the service was called to the scene at 12.23pm after a two-vehicle crash involving three people.
Two people had freed themselves from their vehicle before the fire service arrived and one was assisted out of their vehicle by the fire crew.
The fire service left the scene at approximately 1.15pm
