A man arrested on suspicion of abducting a teenager has been released on bail.
Detectives from Wiltshire Police launched an urgent missing persons appeal on Friday after 14-year-old Leah Mullins was reported missing.
She was seen getting into a car outside The Angel pub on Sherston High Street at around 7.30pm.
She was later found safe and well outside of the county more than 48 hours later on the evening of Sunday, December 31.
Police had arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of child abduction.
But on Tuesday morning, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that man had been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Leah was found on the same evening that her mother Sarah publicly appealed to locate her daughter.
She said: “Leah is a 14-year-old, vulnerable girl who has been away from her family for nearly 48 hours. If anyone has any suspicions, please contact 999.
"Leah if you can see this, then please come home, or contact someone and let them know that you are safe and well.
"We miss you and love you so much. You are not in any trouble and we are extremely concerned about you.”
