A BOY has been arrested in connection with a security threat that caused a secondary school to close.
Wiltshire Police officers have arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of communicating false information.
The latest development comes after staff closed Wyvern St Edmunds in Laverstock this morning, January 10, after a member of staff received a threatening email.
The school is due to reopen tomorrow but police will be patrolling the area to reassure people.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "The youngster is currently in police custody and there is not thought to be any ongoing threat to pupils or staff at the school.
"Members of the public will notice an increased police presence at the school tomorrow where officers will be conducting reassurance patrols."
