A BEAUTIFUL, golden winter sunset has been photographed through Stonehenge.
This photo, taken by Salisbury Journal Camera Club member Hang Ross, shows the golden sunset at the historic Wiltshire landmark.
The Sun's rays can be seen piercing through the gaps in the stones, casting shadows onto the ground beneath them.
A pair of birds can also be seen basking in the sunlight atop the monument.
