A charity based in Salisbury will be showcasing one of the most extensive private car collections in the UK at an event next month.

SSAFA, the armed forces charity, will be hosting a Night at the Car Museum on Thursday, February 29.

There will be displays of classic and modern cars across five halls at an unspecified address between Farnham and Haslemere which will only be disclosed to ticket holders.

Tickets, which cost £60 until Wednesday, January 31 and £70 thereafter, include access to the car collection, a welcome drink, a curry cooked by a military veteran, access to a charity auction and free parking.

Tickets for groups of 12 are being sold for the price of 10.

The museum’s collection features vehicles from different eras, including Koenigsegg, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Le Mans, Formula 1, Jaguar, Tractors and a collection of fuel pumps and automotive memorabilia.

The event has been organised by Alex and Harriet Wolfe of “A Driving Force for SSAFA” and supported by Robert and Tanya Lewis, who have given access to their museum for the event.

Alex Wolfe MBA, an energy leader and early years nursery owner from Southfields, London said: “Harriet and I met Robert Law, owner of this great collection at classic Le Mans last summer and we are very grateful to him for opening his unique collection – it really will be every car fan’s Christmas Day and a chance to see some of the rarest cars in the UK.

“Get ready for an evening filled with automotive wonders, camaraderie, and the satisfaction of supporting the noble cause that is SSAFA, the armed forces charity.”
