POLICE have found two pet goats which were snatched overnight in West Dorset.
Two-year-old Boer goats Pickle and Pepper were stolen overnight on Monday from the Bridport area of west Dorset.
They were found loose in the road in Charles Lane, Ringwood, the next day by officers after they stopped a vehicle on the A31 in St Leonards.
The driver was arrested for driving offences, as well as the theft of the two goats.
The vehicle he was driving was seized for further investigation.
Shortly after this, officers were able to recover Pickle and Pepper.
The Dorset Police Rural Crime Team has also been investigating the theft of two other goats.
The baby pygmy goats, named Margoat and Robbie, were stolen from a property in Marshwood on Thursday, January 11.
Following enquiries, the goats were recovered in Yeovil, Somerset, on Saturday, January 13.
Officers have now arrested two males believed to be involved in their theft.
