A photo has been released of a fraudster who, along with his daughter, stole £60,000 from a convenience store chain.

Christopher Partner, 62, was jailed for 15 months on Tuesday after he defrauded McColl's where he was working at the time as a manager.

Southampton Crown Court heard how, having been based at the Totton store, Partner tampered with the paperwork for ordering stamps.

This way he was able to pocket £46,000 between June 2020 and March 2021 which he said he needed to pay off family debts.

Meanwhile, his daughter stole £13,000 using the same trick and sent the money she made to a man she'd only spoken to twice but thought she was in a relationship with.

Charlotte Partner, 30, was an assistant manager at the McColl's store in New Milton.

She was given a nine-month sentence suspended for 18 months with 180 hours of unpaid work and 15 rehabilitation days.

The pair from Sunnyhill Road, Salisbury were unable to pay back the sum they had taken.

McColl's went into administration and was bought out by Morrisons in 2022.
