A WOMAN has appeared in court following a stabbing in Bemerton Heath.
Kelly Sutton, 44, of Westwood Road, Bemerton Heath, was arrested and charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent by stabbing Jamie Sprusen inside a property.
Police and forensics taped off a house at the scene of the crime which took place at around 12.50am on Sunday morning, January 28.
Wiltshire Police said Mr Sprusen, a man in his 40s, suffered knife injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment but he has since been discharged.
Sutton appeared at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 29, where she was remanded in custody until her next hearing at Salisbury Crown Court on February 23.
