A 'BELOVED' alpaca who lived on a farm near Salisbury has died, aged 17.
Cholderton Rare Breeds farm recently announced with "deep sadness" that one of its alpaca, Toffee, passed away on January 13.
Seventeen-year-old Toffee had a "very good life", according to the farm's operations manager Dan McSorley, who said she will be "missed by all the team and visitors".
Mr McSorley further explained how the average lifespan of an alpaca is 15 to 20 years.
Toffee joined the farm in 2020 and was Baz' mother, one of the other four alpaca at Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm.
Visitors can still take part in an 'Alpaca Walk' experience with one of the younger males and this is available to book here.
Mr McSorley said: "Toffee will be missed by all our team and our visitors, who we know were very fond of her."
