Fordingbridge Town Council co-opted two new members at its most recent General Council meeting.

Councillor Paul Anstey may be a familiar face to some, having served as a Fordingbridge town councillor for 16 years, from 2007 until May 2023, including two years as Mayor, gaining first-hand knowledge and experience on the processes and workings of the Town Council.

Paul has lived in Fordingbridge for 25 years. He wishes to be actively involved in "maintaining and improving" the character and well-being of the town.

He believes it essential that towns like Fordingbridge continue to thrive and the community spirit maintained. He wishes to keep Fordingbridge a welcoming community and make it an even better place.

The town council said: "Their shared commitment to Fordingbridge's welfare make them invaluable additions to the council".
