- The High Court has rejected an appeal against the Stonehenge tunnel, it has been announced this morning (February 19).
- It was the second bid from campaigners to try and block the scheme from going ahead.
- The appeal came after the Department for Transport approved the £1.7bn tunnel - from Amesbury to Berwick Down - on July 14, 2023.
- Hundreds of thousands of people signed a petition against the proposals.
