SALISBURY Area Board will consider a four-month-long road closure to supply power for the Stonehenge tunnel project.
National Highways wants to close part of the A360, between Longbarrow roundabout and The Avenue Roundabout, from April until July.
The work will be carried out by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) and it will ultimately provide an electricity supply for the £2bn A303 Stonehenge project which was recently given the green light as a review was dismissed at High Court.

'Near neighbours' have been informed of the proposed closure and it will be discussed at a Salisbury Area Board meeting at Wilton Community Centre from 7pm on Wednesday, February 28.
In a letter seen by the Journal, David Bullock, project manager for the A303 Stonehenge scheme, told a Wiltshire councillor: "I am writing to let you know that we have begun the necessary legal process to obtain a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order to support essential work along the A360."
Mr Bullock ended his letter with: "Please rest assured that, in the coming weeks and months, we will be reaching out to brief councillors, setting out our plans for working closely with you and your communities as we communicate about the scheme."
