A MAN has died after crashing his car into a tree near Fordingbridge.
Police were called to Alderholt Road at around 8.50am yesterday, February 26, following reports that a black Volkswagen Golf had crashed into a tree.
The driver, a 19-year-old from Blandford Forum, died at the scene and his family have been informed.
Alderholt Road was partially closed and motorists were told to avoid the area after the incident.
Hampshire Police said it has spoken to several witnesses but the force believes there may be other motorists who saw what happened.
