A 74-year-old vintage steam train has been pictured passing through Salisbury.
Pictured on Saturday, March 2, the steam engine 7029, Clun Castle, visited Salisbury as part of an express run from Birmingham Snow Hill to Salisbury and back.
The southbound leg of the journey was estimated to take four hours and 17 minutes, while the return journey to Birmingham was estimated to take four hours and 36 minutes.
The train was due to arrive on Platform 4 at Salisbury Railway Station at 11.30am and depart from Platform 3 at 3.05pm.

Built in 1950, the 7029 served in the Western Region of British Railways for 15 years, before retiring in 1965.
The historic train made history as the last steam train to depart from Paddington and in 1992 became the first steam locomotive to travel to Cornwall since the end of regular steam train services in the 1960s.
