THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

ALICE BRINKLOW, 20 and of Ripon Road in Bournemouth, admitted drink driving in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on February 15. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months. She was also fined £120, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £48.

ELLIS WAKEFIELD-HOMER, 23 and Leamington Road in Bournemouth, admitted drug driving in Wallisdown Road in Bournemouth on August 4, 2023, the drug being benzoylecgonine. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £293, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £117.

DANIEL VAUGHAN, 41 and of no fixed address, admitted fraud by false representation after using a card belonging to another man, intending to make a gain, namely £645.36. He was fined £80, ordered to pay compensation of £645.36, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £32.

LUKE COLARELLI, 19 and of Gladstone Road in Boscombe, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on August 8, 2023. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

CHRISTOPHER JAMES TURNER, 49 and of East Street in Weymouth, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Weymouth Magistrates Court on January 11, 2023. He was fined £60.

NEIL HAMBRIDGE, 35 and of Mountbatten Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in a public place after being in possession of a ‘spanner or similar tool’ in Haskells Road in Poole on January 24. He also admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence on the same date and at the same location. He was handed a six-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £154.

TIMOTHY SYKES, 24 and of Bournemouth, admitted assaulting a man, causing criminal damage, and assaulting a police officer, all in Charminster Road, Bournemouth, on February 9. He also admitted failing to surrender to Poole Magistrates' Court on March 15, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. He was ordered to pay £320 in compensation and a £210 fine.

JONATHAN TINNEY, 30 and of Puddletown Crescent in Poole, admitted causing a deliberate public nuisance in Poole on February 15. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 18 months. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £26.

DAMION PROBYN, 31 and of Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, admitted assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm in Haviland Road in Bournemouth on August 26, 2023. He was handed a 20 week prison sentence suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay £400 in compensation, a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

SAMUEL BARNEY, 35 and of Slepe Crescent in Parkstone, admitted fraud by false representation after using a bank card belonging to someone else in Poole on June 5, 2023. The spendings were £80.06 at Candy Choccy Bar and £87.80 at Tesco Express. He was fined £160, ordered to pay compensation of £167.86 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
